18. Entering other data with BlackBerry Storm
The BB Storm touch screen keyboard doesn't have left and right keys but after some trial and error and changing the settings as you suggested I found a way of inputting. The menu screens can be navigated by touch but in putting needs the keyboard to be made visible by clicking the BB button and selecting. The following keys have to be used to navigate scores and stats.
J - moves between holes. In stats moves between inputs and holes.
K - increases numbers or changes stat ie GIR to GIR MISSED
L - decreases numbers
U - goes back to previous stat input ie for putting to GIR.
19. There isn't an option for a "senior tee" selection
We only have 3 tee options at the moment and that we will definitely fix this in the next version. The best that we could recommend with our current setup is that you put the Senior Tee details under the Tee labelled Medal.
20. Using Wireless18 in Nokia 5800
A possible solution to your problem (not ideal I will admit) is via using
another way that you can enter scores (and statistics)…
1/. Start the Wireless18 application
2/. From the main menu select the 'Settings' menu item
3/. From the settings menu please select the 'Phone issues' menu item
4/. On the resulting screen please select yes to the fact that no keypad
appears on your phone.
Then when you are on the score entry screen you can then adjust a player's
score and statistics by using the left and right arrow keys.
